Wadi As Sayh taken from near to 'Suleiman's cave' which was the rebel leader's refuge near Saiq until over-run by the SAS during the Jebel Akhdar War in the 1950's. This wadi was bombed by the RAF and a Venom pilot (Flt Lt Owen Watkinson) crashed (1958) near to Sayq in what is known to many as 'Venom Wadi' (See photo 12)
